Cabin Leaders attend staff training sessions prior to the camp season, during which a wide variety of topics are covered. They learn about responsibilities, leadership, safety and more. In total, five days are devoted to staff training.
A lifeguard will be at all camps who has Standard First-Aid and CPR-C training. As part of staff training, a review of first-aid procedures is provided. Additionally, a nurse may be present at some camps.
Campers enjoy home cooked meals prepared by a head cook and volunteer campers. We are able to accommodate some dietary restrictions, however, families may need to provide substitute options for children with severe restrictions. If your child has dietary allergies/restrictions, please contact registrations@watersedge prior to the camp week they are scheduled for to ensure proper arrangements are made.
Often 5-10 per cabin, with 20-30 at camp in total.
Every year towards the end of the camp season, Waters Edge Bible Camp holds a celebration service. Memories from the summer are highlighted, and afterwards a potluck supper is held. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Drop off and registration times for each camp is at 4:00 pm and pick up and checkout times for each camp is at 1:00 pm with the exception of Presquirt Camp which is from 10 am to 4 pm. Doors will not open before the drop and registration time and we appreciate your consideration in picking up and checking out your child promptly at 1.
